Ms. Chandra holds a Masters degree in Commerce and is also and Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

Having joined GIC in 1990, early in her career she has handled Aviation underwriting for several years. At various stages she has been involved in various assignments involving GIC’s Reinsurance Protection, Investment Accounts, Life and Health Reinsurance. As Deputy General Manager, she is now in charge of Investment Dept.
