Second 100 Days Campaign - 'Saksham Niveshak'

KYC and Related Updations and Shareholder Engagement to Prevent Transfer of Unpaid/Unclaimed Dividends to Investor Education and Protection Fund ('IEPF')

Dear Shareholders,

Pursuant to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) communication dated 27th March, 2026, the General Insurance Corporation of India (the Corporation) has initiated Second 100 Days Campaign "Saksham Niveshak" starting from 1st April, 2026 to 9th July, 2026 to reach out to the shareholders whose dividend has remained unclaimed/unpaid and whose KYC & other details have not been updated.

In line with the initiative, all shareholders/members who have unpaid/unclaimed dividend with the Corporation or whose KYC Details (Permanent Account Number, Specimen Signatures, Bank Mandates, Contact Information etc.) have not been updated are requested to follow the below procedure:

  1. The members holding shares in physical form: The forms for updating the KYC are available at https://ris.kfintech.com/clientservices/isc/isrforms.aspx. Submit the duly signed forms alongwith KYC Documents with the Corporation's Registrar & Transfer Agent - KFin Technologies Limited (Unit: General Insurance Corporation of India) at Selenium Tower - B, Financial District, Gachibowli, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad - 500032, Telangana, E-mail: einward.ris@kfintech.com

  2. For shares held in dematerialized form: Update KYC details with Depository Participant (DP) where the demat account is maintained as per the process advised by DP.

The unpaid/unclaimed dividend will be credited to the shareholder's bank account, only after the KYC is updated. Details of unpaid/unclaimed dividend lying with the Corporation are available on https://www.gicre.in/en/investors-public-disclosures/investors-en/unclaimed-dividend.

It may be noted that the shareholder whose unclaimed / unpaid dividend and/or shares are already deposited/transferred to the IEPFA and wish to claim the same, may claim the said dividend/share by filing e-form IEPF-5 and visit the IEPF Website – www.iepf.gov.in for details on claiming procedure.
