Joining GIC Re in June 1990, Sanjay Mokashi initially worked in HR before transitioning to aviation. He was involved in establishing GIC Re’s UK Branch in 2006, where he subsequently handled facultative business (Property, Oil & Energy, Aviation) from Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America for six years. He handled GIC Re's worldwide aviation and space portfolios from 2014 to 2019, followed by a tenure as CEO of GIC Perestrakhovanie LLC until June 2023. Currently, he holds the position of General Manager in the Reinsurance Department at GIC Re's Mumbai Head Office.
