Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 – Preparatory Review Meetings

Review meetings with all departments were organized in September 2025 to discuss plans and to promote Digital Initiatives across the organization.

Vigilance Awareness Week 2025

All employees of GIC Re across offices in India and abroad, including our subsidiaries, took the Integrity Pledge at 11:30 a.m. on 27th October 2025.

Capacity Building Program under VAW 2025

Under the Capacity Building Programme, an intensive training session was conducted on below subjects:

  • 1. CTE Type of intensive Examination
  • 2. Investigation & Report
  • 3. Framing of Chargesheet

The event was Inaugurated by ED & Additional charge CMD, Mr. Hitesh Joshi. The training was conducted by CVO, Mr. S. Alagarsamy & other Master trainers namely 1.Mr.S.G. Rathod, Chief Manager, ITMG. 2.Mrs.Swati Singh, Chief Manager, Legal Dept. 3.Mrs.Madhuri Naidu, Chief Manager, Vigilance Dept. 4.Mr.Suraj Suvarna, Chief Manager, HR Dept.5.Mrs.Sheetal Gawde, Senior Manager, HR Dept. and 6. Mr.Ajit Barla, Senior Manager, Vigilance Dept. Training attended by 57 employees from Scale I to Scale IV Venue : Astoria Hotel, Churchgate, Mumbai Date :29.10.2025.

Community Outreach under Vigilance Awareness Week 2025

As part of our community outreach initiative, the Vigilance Department of GIC Re conducted programmes at the Gram Panchayat in collaboration with the VMM Foundation NGO, and at the Primary Gram Panchayat School, Pandharicha Pada Village, Shahpur, on 17th October 2025.

Training attended by 55 employees.

Vigilance awareness week at Gram Panchayat School

The Vigilance Department of GIC Re has conducted programme at the Gram Panchayat School at Pandharicha pada village, Shahpur, as part of our community outreach initiative on 17.10.2025.

On the occasion of VAW 2025, our team has interacted with enthusiastic students of the school.

Gifts and hygiene kits were distributed to the children on behalf of Vigilance Department and GIC Re in coordination with NGO Virangana Mahila Mandal (VMM). CVO and Vigilance Team have participated.

Vigilance Awareness Gram Sabha – VAW 2025

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the Vigilance Department of GIC Re organized an “Vigilance Awareness Gram Sabha” at Pandharicha padha village in Shahapur, in collaboration with the NGO Virangana Mahila Mandal (VMM) on 17.10.2025.

Dy Director of PRD, Govt of Maharashtra, Members of the NGO, Gram Panchayat representatives, the Police Patil, the Sarpanch, and local villagers actively participated in the session.

Vigilance team of GIC Re shared insights on this year’s theme — “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” — highlighting the importance of transparency, alertness (Satarkata), and awareness on various government welfare schemes that can benefit the community in their daily lives. CVO and Vigilance Team have participated in the programme.

Vigilance Awareness Week (2025) at PMSHRI KV School

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the Vigilance Department of GIC Re organized an Essay Writing Competition and a Poster Making Competition for students of Classes 9 to 12 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhandup, Mumbai on 25.10.2025.

The theme for both competitions was “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

The event aimed to promote the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability among young students. The Chief Vigilance Officer and team, graced the occasion and distributed trophies, gifts, and certificates to the winners, encouraging them to uphold ethical values and continue spreading awareness about vigilance in society.
