Prerana Puthran joined in the year 1992 and has been associated across various profiles during her tenure within GIC Re.

A commerce graduate from Mumbai University and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FIII), she has worked across key functions including Reinsurance, Claims Vertical, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Credit Rating during her 33-year stint with the organisation.

Currently, she holds the position of Deputy General Manager, overseeing Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Social Responsibility Investment Mid and Back Office Operations and NPA Cell.

Beyond the corporate world, she is a passionate music enthusiast and a firm believer in fitness as a way of life.
