Mrs Zenobia Palsetia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from Mumbai University with Banking and Insurance as special vocational subjects. She was the top scorer in the Liability Insurance Associate examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India.

She joined GIC Re in 1990 and during her 35 years of service, she has worked in various capacities in departments like Finance – Business Accounts, General Accounts, Taxation (both Direct and Indirect), Central Treasury Cell, Reinsurance – Pools, Retrocessions, Technical – Fire and Miscellaneous portfolios, Human Relations Department, Office Services Department International Operations, Broker Relationship Management, Enterprise Risk Management .

Currently as Deputy General Manager, she holds the portfolios of Investment Accounts, Corporate Communication, Investor Relations, Broker Relationship Management, Credit rating and the Official Language Department.
