Mr. Rajesh Khadatare joined GIC Re in May 1988. He is Commerce and Law graduate from Mumbai University and is Fellow of Insurance Institute of India.

During his 36 years of service, for almost 23 years, he has handled various facets of Business Accounts Operations including taxation. Apart from this, he was associated with RI Underwriting (Property, Liability, Motor, Pool operations & Retro business) for about 12 years. He had seminal role in setting up of Fair Nat-Cat Reinsurance Pool (FNCRIP) in 2013 and Indian Nuclear Pool (INIP) in 2015.

He is currently assigned role of Chief Marketing Officer (KMP). In his assignments, besides Official Language Department and role as CMO, he is associated with various other departments requiring extensive interaction with external business partners.

He represents GIC RE at various conferences and has travelled within India and many insurance markets abroad for business development and growth.

He is passionate about his work, loves travelling, enjoys sports and listening to music.
