Mr Rajesh Khadatare joined GIC Re in May 1988. He is Commerce and Law graduate from Mumbai University and is Fellow of Insurance Institute of India.

During his 34 years of service, almost 23 years i.e. initially 16 years after joining the corporation & another 7 years between 2015 to 2022, he has handled various facets of Business Accounts Operations including taxation.

During period of 2004-2015, he was associated with RI Underwriting (for Property, Liability, Motor & Inward Retro business), RI Claims (for Motor & Protection Recoveries) and had seminal role in setting up of Fair Nat-Cat RI Pool (FNCRIP) in 2013 and Indian Nuclear Insurance Pool (INIP) in 2015.

He is currently assigned charge of Chief Marketing Officer (KMP) and Brokers Relationship Management Department.

He represents GIC RE at various conferences and has travelled for marketing & business procurement. As a leader of marketing team to Israel (almost for 5 years), has successfully garnered sizable market share for GIC Re.

He is passionate about his work, loves travelling and listening to music.
