Shri Tapan Kumar Mondal is a Central Secretariat Service officer of the 1990 batch. He holds a B.Sc. degree from University of Calcutta. He has a vast array of experience of various Departments/Ministries of Govt. of India such as DGS&D, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (presently DPIIT), Ministry of Defence etc.

At present, he is working as Deputy Secretary (Vigilance) in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He is also Nodal Officer for Andaman & Nicobar Islands Union Territory Level Bankers’ Committee.
